PLAY THE DRAFT® is the premier interactive game experience during the football draft season. After all, draft season IS football season, with fans looking to stay engaged from the Combine to the Super Bowl.
Every player enters a public or private league competition with $12 million in “rookie salary cap” fantasy dollars, with the goal of having the highest fund value in the league at the conclusion of the third round of the draft on May 9, 2014. Check your funds often, for draft stock prices change daily as new information impacts market perceptions. Then, while watching the draft, see where the athletes are actually selected as your fund values change for a truly interactive viewing experience with friends. The highest portfolio value in each league wins. Buy low, sell high, repeat…!
Yes. Contests hosted by the game Administrator are free to play, and private leagues can be created for play with up to 15 participants at no charge during the 2014 Draft Season.
Absolutely. Keep your league together to compete with your friends in the PLAY THE DRAFT® game experience. Through this unique fantasy game experience, you’ll also be better informed about the 2014 rookie class to assist with your fantasy draft during the regular season.
No. If you are super avid fan, consider creating multiple funds to experiment with different game strategies. You might be motivated to join more than one public contest and invited to play in multiple private leagues. More funds = more fun during draft season. The “Dashboard” page will display all of the funds you are currently managing along with their current values and league rankings.
No. PLAY THE DRAFT® provides a unique and memorable interactive game experience for football fans and is intentionally designed to align with strategic partners interested in non-gambling game experiences. It is NOT online gambling. There are no cash prizes offered to contest winners, and there is no way to have a real financial gain or loss by trading fantasy athlete stocks through PLAY THE DRAFT®. All transactions are fantasy transactions. Some contests hosted by the Administrator offer non-cash prizing scenarios with a focus on experiential prizing, so stay tuned for more announcements as new contests start. In the free private leagues, the league manager has the option to display what the league is playing for (e.g. Bragging Rights).
No. This trading feature is frequently requested by avid fans of PLAY THE DRAFT®, however, at this time, the game experience focuses players on identifying undervalued athlete draft stocks with no game reward when an athlete falls in draft order, as this strategy is aligned with our partner preferences. This feature, and other exciting trading options, are being considered by the FRX team, so stay tuned for updates on new ways to PLAY THE DRAFT®.
The fantasy draft stock values change overnight, with new values assigned each day to take into account the most recent news and information affecting predictions.
